Hello and welcome,
My name is Grace Denker, and I’m so glad you’re here. Having once been a newcomer to Germany myself, I know firsthand how exciting - and sometimes overwhelming - it can be to start a new chapter in a different country. The journey comes with many challenges, from navigating a new culture and language to finding your place both professionally and personally.
After many years working in education, including as Pedagogical Director at Berlitz, I founded AVELANG in 2009 to help people like you. My goal is to offer not just language and vocational training, but also the support, encouragement, and practical guidance that I wish I’d had when I first arrived.
Whether you’re an expat, a migrant, or simply someone seeking a fresh start in Germany, I am passionate about helping you settle in with confidence and thrive in your new home. Your success and well-being are at the heart of everything I do.
